About US: Janet Kovich
My Story
Janet was born in New Jersey and raised in St. George's, Newfoundland & Labrador. As a child, she was known for being helpful and responsible. These traits have carried on into her adult life as she has enjoyed a dual career path as an Executive Assistant and a Realtor®.
Being raised in an Indigenous community, she was taught early on to respect her elders. The older she gets, the more that resonates with her, and she is finding herself drawn to ensuring the safety and security of her senior clients. This is how Beacon Passage was born!
She has served as a Director for the St. Teresa's Mundy Pond Corporation, helping the parishioners purchase their church property, and she enjoys volunteering in various organizations when possible.
Often seen with her little dog Willie Nelson, out around town taking care of tasks and showing properties, they love to meet new people and say hi to friends!

My Services
First licensed in 2002 as a Realtor®, Janet has gained experience in all types of real estate transactions, both in NL, and in New Jersey.
With more than 20 years as a realtor, and 25 years of experience as an executive assistant and office manager, she has been trained to think of the big picture, and is able to act strategically on your behalf. With skills learned through planning, scheduling and execution of events, Janet is able to plan ahead for your transaction, as well as anticipate and mitigate any issues before they arise, ensuring that your transaction is completed seamlessly. Serving a wide range of clients from first-time home buyers, to sellers and investors, Janet loves that no two days are the same!
In 2024, Janet expanded by completing a Seniors Real Estate Specialist Course. That designation helped her to see the big picture when it comes to working with seniors. Their needs are complex, and sometimes they aren't sure how to access the help they require. That's where we come in!
Capable and proficient, she works well with other parties, including: co-operating agents, lawyers, inspectors, financial experts and relocation companies, to represent you fully, and with integrity.
As your full time real estate representative, she can follow up and ensure that things stay on track.
My Approach
Being comfortable with your real estate agent is a must and Janet works hard to earn your trust and to make this an enjoyable and educational experience for you. When it comes to difficult conversations, you will find her easy to talk to, someone who understands how hard life can be sometimes. She does have a sense of humour, and loves to see her clients smiling and laughing, enjoying the whole experience. With home purchase being the biggest purchase you'll make, it's important to weigh all of your options and be well informed, that's where Janet comes in.
Expanding her services with the birth of this website, Janet believes in taking a holistic approach to client services. We understand that each client has unique needs, and we work closely with them and their families to develop customized plans that address their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
This advisory space comes from a place of caring and giving back to the community. Everyone has a calling and Janet feels that it is incumbent upon her to help everyone navigate opportunities and challenges alike.
